A Romantic Couples Session in Ballintoy Harbour, Northern Ireland

Ballintoy Harbour on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland was such a dreamy location for this couples session. The luscious green grass, charming architecture, and the beautiful waters of the North Atlantic stretching out in every direction was basically everything I love to photograph in one place. The soft overcast Irish weather made everything even drier. I love the movement and imperfection we captured in these photographs; the wind catching Kym’s dress, slightly blurry photographs from running through the water, quiet moments together, and all the little in-between interactions that make images feel alive.

Photographing along the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland was such an inspiring experience. Travel has always been a huge source of inspiration for my photography, and Ireland especially feels made for the romantic, documentary style of imagery I love creative. Give me an adventurous couple, a beautiful landscape, a little wind and cloudy skies, and I’m happy.
